Welcome to Fortune!
Our home is a lovely 3 bedroom executive beach house, built in the craftsman style in 2007-8.
It sleeps 6 (please inquire for larger groups), fronts on to beautiful Fortune Bay, and is a 3 minute walk down a short lane to a virtually private beach. Other beautiful beaches are nearby, including the magnificent beaches and landscapes of Greenwich National Park.
Fortune Bay is 45 minutes east of Charlottetown, 25 minutes northeast of Montague and 15 minutes west of Souris.
Several championship golf courses are nearby, including The Links at Crowbush Cove, Dundarave and Brudenell River; many other superb courses are within easy driving distance. The Brudenell resort also includes a spa.
The famous Inn at Bay Fortune, original home of Chef Michael Smith, is across the Bay. The Inn At Bay Fortune was awarded Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence in August 2008.
Organic and natural farmers are nearby, and the Charlottetown Farmers Market is an ideal place to explore the bounty of PEI. Local seafood, including PEI lobster and mussels, and the world famous Colville Bay oysters, are nearby.
Fortune Bay is ideal for a quiet week or two away from busy life in the city, a home base for a golf vacation, a beach paradise for the kids, a writer’s retreat, or a peaceful working vacation.
